How to Enter the BaseCase Launch on SEED

A step-by-step guide to entering the BaseCase launch on SEED, including eligibility, allocation caps, vesting, and TGE details.

A complete guide to participating in SEED-powered launches

SEED is designed to address a core problem in token launches: many projects reach the market without a system for sustained users, liquidity, or revenue after launch. Instead of treating launch day as the finish line, SEED structures launches to support coordinated execution at TGE and measurable on-chain outcomes beyond it.

BaseCase is a decentralized prediction-market protocol on Base where anyone can create and trade markets on real-world outcomes using USDC, with outcomes resolved on-chain. BaseCase is the first project launching under SEED, with the launch of $CASE taking place on 15 January.

Access is provided to eligible participants before public market price discovery, using a controlled and transparent allocation model that rewards committed SEED holders while ensuring the launch is capitalised responsibly.

Below is a step-by-step guide to participating in the BaseCase launch and understanding how SEED-powered launches work.

SEED staking tiers are still being rolled out. For the BaseCase launch, access is therefore opened directly to SEED holders using live holding checks, alongside existing Pineapple Mansion access. Future launches will transition to fully staking-based eligibility once staking is live.

Step 1: Pre-Sale Eligibility

The BaseCase pre-sale is not open to the general public. Participation is gated through the Pineapple and SEED ecosystems.

1. SEED Holder Access

To be eligible through SEED, your wallet must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum holding of 1,000,000 SEED.
  • The SEED balance must be held in the same wallet used to participate.
  • The balance is checked at snapshot / live validation and verified again at TGE.

Allocation caps scale linearly based on your SEED balance:

  • 1,000,000 SEED → $500 maximum allocation
  • Each additional 1,000,000 SEED increases the cap by $500

For example:

  • 2,000,000 SEED allows up to $1,000
  • 5,000,000 SEED allows up to $2,500
  • There is no max cap.

Only the amount within your calculated cap is counted toward your allocation.

2. Pineapple Mansion Access

Existing Pineapple Mansion access rules remain unchanged. Eligible users must invest from the wallet holding their Mansion tier. Contribution caps are fixed per tier:

  • Penthouse Elite: up to $3,000
  • Inner Circle: up to $1,000
  • Whales: up to $1,000

Contributions above your tier cap do not increase allocation.

Step 2: How the Pre-Sale Works

The BaseCase pre-sale will run on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning on 8th January for a maximum of five days or until the hard cap is reached. Key details are shown on the pre-sale page, including:

  • Soft cap: $90,000
  • Hard cap: $150,000
  • Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV): $750,000
  • Total Supply: 1,000,000,000 $CASE (1 billion)
  • Token price: $0.00075
  • Percentage of supply sold (from 12% up to 20%)
  • Countdown timer and live progress indicators

To participate:

  1. Send USDT or USDC on Ethereum mainnet to the official pre-sale wallet shown on the page here.
  2. Your contribution is counted automatically up to your wallet’s calculated cap.
  3. Any amount sent above your cap is treated as excess.

Excess or invalid contributions do not increase allocation and may be refunded with a 20% service fee applied to the excess amount.

Vesting & Token Distribution

All BaseCase pre-sale allocations are subject to linear vesting over three months.

  • Vesting begins 24 hours after the Token Generation Event (TGE) on 15 January.
  • Tokens unlock by the minute, linearly, over a three-month period.
  • There is no cliff.
  • You may claim any vested portion via Sablier at any time once claiming is enabled.

Final allocation amounts, vesting progress, and claim instructions will be published clearly through official channels after TGE.

Step 3: Prepare for Launch

Each SEED launch follows a structured rollout to ensure participants are informed and prepared:

  • The project is introduced to the community through official Pineapple channels.
  • An education period follows, including AMAs, spotlights, and documentation.
  • The launch date, TGE details, and participation mechanics are announced publicly.

Before launch, ensure that:

  • You are using a self-custodial wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby.
  • You are connected to BASE mainnet.
  • You have sufficient ETH on BASE Chain for gas fees (gas fees are extremely cheap on BASE, so $5 of ETH should be sufficient for 100s of transactions).
  • You never use an exchange wallet.

Only announcements shared through verified channels should be trusted.
